Wichita is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas.

Some relatives of the Kent family lived in Wichita. Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Clark Kent and their dog Hank were travelling to Wichita to encounter them before a tornado forced them to take shelter. While the storm was raging, Jonathan Kent was killed when he was sucked into the tornado.[1][2]
