Walter Hamada is an American film executive and producer. He was the president of DC Films from January 4, 2018 to October 19, 2022.
He was an executive producer on Aquaman, Shazam!, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman 1984, The Suicide Squad, Black Adam, Batgirl, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
On August 5, 2022, it was reported that Hamada was going to leave his post shortly after the release of Black Adam.[1] Following his departure, he was succeeded by James Gunn and Peter Safran as the co-chairmen and CEOs of the restructured DC Studios beginning November 1, 2022.[2]
