Victor Vasquez is the husband of Rosa Vasquez and the foster father of Billy Batson and their family.[1]

A few years older than Rosa,[2] Victor was orphaned as a child and spent his early years in a series of foster homes, many of which he tried to run away from.[3] He studied at Fawcett Central School where he played football. During one of the matches he managed to allow his team to win, but at the cost of his kneel, which forced him to retire.[2]
Later he met a fellow orphan, Rosa, whom he married. They later divorced but then remarried and started their own household in Philadelphia where they raised their own foster family, wishing to give the children a better childhood than they received themselves.[3]

Personality[]
Hardly any different from his wife, Victor is extremely compassionate and altruistic. Life as a foster child seems to have done nothing to lessen this nature of his, as he dedicated his life to giving children a better childhood experience than the one he had, although he showed more reluctance than his wife about adopting Billy after he continuously wandered off.
