The Uprising of Kahndaq was an intense search orchestrated by Intergang and Ishmael Gregor to seize the Crown of Sabbac found in Kahndaq. Adrianna Tomaz and her companions also attempted to search for the crown, but Tomaz released the legendary Teth-Adam for help.
For his murders, Adam was confronted by the Justice Society until forming an alliance with them to save Amon Tomaz from Ishmael. Despite his efforts, Gregor won the crown, becoming Sabbac and the new ruler of Kahndaq, but Doctor Fate was able to encourage Adam to break out of captivity, fighting side by side with Hawkman to kill Sabbac and destroy the crown, freeing Kahndaq from his oppression.
