Falling in Love With Marilyn Batson
Travis eventually met Marilyn Batson, and they fell in love and she became his fiancé. However, it's implied he was a controlling partner, and it was possible that he was abusive as well. He was present when her son, Billy Batson, turned up at their doorstep. It is unlikely Travis knew Billy existed at all, but Marilyn predicted that he would not accept him to live with them. Growing impatient, Travis demanded to know what was going on, prompting Marilyn to go back inside and speak with him.[1]
