Tokyo, officially Tokyo Metropolis, is the de facto capital and most populous city of Japan.

History

20th century

1980s

In 1984, Max Lord delivered a message to the world saying that he is going to change their lives which included the people of Tokyo.[1]

21st century

Katana's mission

During the summer of 2016, Katana was involved in a mission located in Tokyo. There, she faced a group of Yakuza henchmen and she exited the fight victorious.[2]

Superman's return

In 2017 it was reported that there were celebrations as far as Tokyo regarding the news of Superman's resurrection.[3]

Attack on the surface world

In 2018, Tokyo was one of many coastal cities that was hit by mega-tsunamis and covered by tons of marine waste, reversed by the Atlanteans.[4]
