The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive is a prequel miniseries to The Flash. It was originally to be a three-issue comic series releasing monthly from April 26, 2022, and later released as a collected paperback in October 2022[1], but was postponed to a September release, with its collected edition set to be released on May 16, 2023.[2]
The first issue was 48 pages long and featured a variant cover by The Flash director, Andy Muschietti. The series will lead into the events of the film, involving Flash seeking Batman's advice on dealing with the new supervillain in town, Girder.

- According to Juan Ferreyra, the comic would be ideally set as a continuation of Zack Snyder's Justice League rather than the theatrical version of the 2017 film. But he ultimately admitted that the issue was out of his control.[4]
