The Adventures of Aquaman & Mera, also known as the Aquaman Funko Pop! Vinyl Animated Shorts, are a series of four non-canon animated short films released to promote Aquaman and its associated Funko products. The characters are designed after Funko Pop! figures, and the story is told without dialogue.
Plot[]
"Lost Relic"[]
Aquaman and Mera save a beached whale at Amnesty Bay, when a treasure map washes ashore. They leave to find where it leads, but Black Manta is close behind.
"Underwater Ambush"[]
Following their treasure map, Aquaman and Mera find an Atlantean treasure room with a gold necklace. Taking it in his hand, Aquaman is attacked and captured by Black Manta, who escapes from Mera.
"Feeding Time!"[]
Black Manta brings the captured Aquaman to King Orm and his guards. One of the guards calls forth a giant sea serpent to feed, but Mera arrives and stops it from taking a bite out of Aquaman. Aquaman breaks his chains and the pair flee.
"Final Showdown"[]
King Orm and his guards chase Aquaman and Mera to the surface, where the guards fight the heroes. The pair easily defeat the guards, and Orm runs away. Black Manta emerges, and is also defeated, dropping the necklace he had stolen back into Aquaman's hand.
