The Smallville Spartans are the football team of Smallville High School.
History[]
In 1990 and 1996, the Spartans were the Kansas state champions.[1]
Five members of the team in their letterman jackets, including Kenny Braverman and Whitney Fordham, bullied Clark Kent before stopping themselves when they realized they were being watched.[2]

- The "Spartans" name is most likely a reference to director Zack Snyder's previous film, 300, which was about a group of Spartans. It's otherwise not a team name associated with Superman or Smallville.
- They are a counterpart to the Smallville Giants from the comics, like the Smallville Crows of Smallville before them.
