In 2022, a group of mercenary pirates attacked Sawyer-2, trapping its crew, taking them hostage, while the ship's captain asked for urgent help. In response, Aquaman, aided by Storm, headed to Sawyer-2, where he confronted the pirates, defeating them and rescuing the ship's crew.[1]
