Samir was a friend of Adrianna Tomaz and Karim who aided them during their expedition to find the Crown of Sabbac. He was pushed off a cliff by and shot by Intergang members during this attempt, after having been betrayed by Ishmael Gregor, a man secretly associated with Intergang.

Samir allied with fugitives Adrianna Tomaz, Karim, and Ishmael Gregor to get the ancient Crown of Sabbac before it got into the hands of Intergang. Having to flee his home due to the organization's surveillance, Samir and the team came up with a plan to go to the desert and find the Crown. Passing through a control zone, the team was inspected, but as Intergang was distracted by Amon Tomaz, Samir and his team managed to gain access to the desert.

As they advanced, Samir suggested Tomaz flee Kahndaq as she was not safe, and Tomaz refused, with Samir warning her that they could not fool the soldiers forever, but agreeing to go ahead with the plan to find the Crown. Samir was surprised at Tomaz's Eternium necklace, stating that they could earn money and believing it to be magical, asking her how she got it, so she explained that it was an inheritance from her grandmother from the times when Kahndaq was free.[1]

The team reached the cave where the Crown of Sabbac was located in the morning, where Samir searched for the equipment behind the truck and asked Karim if he would come, but he refused due to a sore leg and preferring to stay and watch, so Samir left to accompany Gregor and Tomaz.
Samir sees the ancient texts.
Inside a cave, Samir saw Tomaz translate ancient texts on the walls about how there was a man who obtained the power of magic and was corrupted, as well as texts talking about the Crown, worrying Samir, who asked if they should take the crown due to the danger it would cause, but Tomaz claimed that they had no choice having to stop Intergang from getting it, discovering that Gregor was gone, so Samir went to search him.
Samir is thrown from a cliff by Ishmael Gregor.
At the top of the mountain, Samir found Gregor, discovering that he was informing the Intergang soldiers about the location of the Crown, but when trying to confront him, Samir ended up being pushed by Gregor to the ground, falling in front of Karim. Dying, Samir tried to warn Karim of Gregor's betrayal, but he couldn't understand, and an Intergang soldier shot Samir, killing him in front of Karim as he was taken hostage.[1]
