Aftermath[]
The Amazons gained their freedom, and were able to move to the safety of Themyscira, where humans wouldn't find them again until World War I.[1] Asteria was left behind to start a new life among the humans.[2]
Trivia[]
- In DC Comics, the Amazons actually revolted against the Old Gods, who tricked and forced them into slavery. After dealing with excessive abuse from the gods, Queen Hippolyta led the Amazons to freedom and they sailed until they arrived at Paradise Island, where they started their civilization anew, far away from the gods.
