Rats (Rattus) are a species of rodents native to Earth.
History[]
Ratcatcher was a criminal who used rats to carry out crimes in Porto. However, after he died from drug overdose, his daughter and protege, Cleo Cazo became a criminal known as Ratcatcher 2, and trained rats to carry out crimes in her father's honor. At some point, she adopted a rat that she named Sebastian.[1]
Skirmish under Gotham Harbor[]
Some rats were present and possibly died during the fight between the newly formed Justice League and Steppenwolf and his parademons.[2]
Mission in Corto Maltese[]
During the Corto Maltese mission, Ratcatcher 2 was made to join Task Force X, where she used her rat communicator to help the team on various occasions. The rats of Corto Maltese were ultimately responsible for ending Starro's rampage under her control.[1]
Attack on the Orichalcum Furnace[]
While Arthur Curry and Orm Marius were heading to the Orichalcum Furnace, the two came across a giant rat in the jungle which had been mutated by the release of Orichalcum. However, the rat had been killed by a group of giant grasshoppers who would chase the 2 brothers.[3]
