Prince Rogers Nelson, later known as Prince, was a musician, singer, and songwriter, mostly prominent during the 1980s due to his hit album Purple Rain, from which point on he was regarded as a legendary artist.

Prince died on April 21, 2016, and a little under a year after his death, in January 2017, he was compared in the tabloid Metropolis Post to the extraterrestrial Superman due to the fact that both of them died tragically, and both of them held renowned reputations around the world. The Post even introduced the question that Prince may have been alien himself, and that he didn't die, but merely returned to his homeworld.

Behind the Scenes

  • Prince's image appears briefly in a newspaper clipping in Justice League alongside Superman and David Bowie. Coincidentally, the artist recorded the soundtrack for the 1989 film Batman directed by Tim Burton.
