Port Adams, also known as Port Adams Dock, is a docking port on the Lower East Side of Gotham City.

The port is home to commercial fishermen who offload their freshly netted catches to restaurant wholesalers.[2]

History[]

During the annual St. Patrick's Day Festival in Gotham City, Gothamites flock to the Port Adams docks and raise a glass to the city's Irish immigrants, turning the port green. This tradition has been going on for over a century, though the festival itself was first celebrated in 1799.[3][4]

Behind the Scenes[]

  • Port Adams is a recurring Gotham City location in DC Comics.

  1. Time Out Shortlist Gotham and Metropolis states that the crowds that fill the blocks near Port Adams during the St. Patrick's Day Festival have been doing so "for over a century". Since the book was published (in-universe) shortly before the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which takes place in 2015, it can be deduced that Port Adams was *at least* built before 1905.
