Patricia Lea "Patty" Jenkins (born July 23, 1971) is an American director, producer, and screenwriter. She directed the 2017 film Wonder Woman, the tie-in short film "Etta's Mission" and the 2020 film Wonder Woman 1984 which she also co-wrote. She will return to write and direct an as-of-yet untitled third Wonder Woman film.[1]
She also wrote the foreword for the book Wonder Woman: The Art and Making of the Film.

- Patty Jenkins was originally going to direct the 2013 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: The Dark World, but had creative differences with Marvel Studios. Idris Elba, Zachary Levi, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje all starred in that film.
