Serving as Victoria Kord's right-hand, he helped her to find biotechnological alien Khaji-Da, coming into conflict with Jaime Reyes to get the relic, gaining new powers until Reyes spared his life, causing Carapax to redeem himself, sacrificing himself to kill Kord after realizing Victoria was responsible for his mother's death.

With Carapax agreeing to take part in Victoria's OMAC project, and had the prototype OMAC device implanted onto his back to create a battle suit to help him in fights, although he had suffered pain during the process.[1]

    • Superhuman Reflexes: Integrated with a direct neural interface, the armor enhances Carapax’s reaction time to superhuman levels. This allowed him to parry attacks, counter enemy strikes, and engage multiple opponents with near-instantaneous responsiveness, even when outnumbered or ambushed.
    • Construct Creation: Using energy-conversion systems modeled after Khaji-Da’s tech, the OMAC Armor can generate a variety of energy-based constructs. Carapax formed weapons such as energy blades, cannons, and bludgeoning tools directly from his arms, adjusting in real time to combat needs.
    • Flight: After being given the upgraded OMAC armor, Carapax was able to use the armor's thrusters to hover and fly after his targets.

The suitwasis fully integrated with Carapax’s body through invasive cybernetic augmentation, allowing for complete neural synchronization and instant activation of its systems. Once engaged, the armor enhanced every physical attribute of the wearer and enables the use of advanced weaponry and energy-based constructs. Key features included: Full-body cybernetic plating with reactive armor components. A red bio-synthetic power core capable of sustaining prolonged combat. Retractable weapons and modular construct emitters. A visual HUD interface integrated directly into Carapax’s nervous system.
