Treating Peacemaker[]
When Christopher Smith received serious injuries after losing to rival Bloodsport during their mission in Corto Maltese, Amanda Waller somehow sent for her subordinates to save him and send him to Mount Rouge Health Center. At the hospital, Peacemaker was cared for by Dr. Alandy. Later, Waller would send John Economos and Emilia Harcourt to visit the hospital to see Smith's condition.[1]
Waking Up from a Coma[]
Sometime later, Peacemaker awakened from the coma. He made an acquaintance with a janitor named Jamil who provided him with weed, a drug that they would both smoke in one session. Over five months after being admitted to the hospital he was inspected by Dr. Alandy who was amazed that his only remaining injury was the one on his left clavicle. She then informed him that he was free to be discharged. Later, he approached Jamil saying that he should be in prison, so the employee would ask why, to which Peacemaker claimed to be superhero stuff. The employee asked for his superhero alias and Smith replied that he was Peacemaker, making fun of not knowing said superhero.[2]
