When Bruce Wayne came up with a plan to try and stop Darkseid, the Insurgency hid on a bridge and set their mission in motion, with Mera swearing she would kill Superman for killing Arthur Curry, Wayne tried to reassure her, telling her he understood her pain but they had to continue with the plan to be able to, and Mera got annoyed asking him if he had ever loved someone. Suddenly, the Insurgency detected Superman heading towards them, so Mera quickly prepared to engage him by aiming her trident at him.[1]
