Maria Bertinelli was the wife of Franco Bertinelli, mother of Helena Bertinelli, and the matriarch of the Bertinelli Crime Family.

Bertinelli Massacre[]
Maria Bertinelli was the mother of Huntress and was married to Franco Bertinelli. She was massacred alongside Franco and the rest of her family in a mob hit carried out by the Galante Crime Family and members of the False Face Society under the orders of Roman Sionis, where Helena was the only survivor.[1]
Legacy[]
Maria's death along with the rest of the Bertinelli Family would cause Helena to train hard to become an assassin and take out her family's killers, in which she was successful after she track down and killed all of her family killers and worked with new allies to take out Sionis, avenging Maria and the rest of the Bertinellis.
