The Manhunt of Peacemaker was an attempt by the White Dragon and his Aryan Empire to kill his son Christopher Smith who was travelling with his teammates Vigilante, John Economos, and Eagly.

After being incarcerated at the Evergreen Corrections Center, Auggie Smith's resentment toward his son Christopher grew after learning that he refused to release him because he was on a secret mission.[1] Smith attempted to find a way out of prison, enlisting help from detectives Sophie Song and Larry Fitzgibbon, but they were unable to do anything due to the arrival of the new captain, Caspar Locke, who was an ally of Christopher's team.[2] After receiving an arrest warrant for Christopher, Song released Smith from prison, as they now needed to arrest Christopher.

Auggie Smith eventually got out of prison, meeting with an Aryan in his car, explaining his plan to return home, take a bath, have sex, and stating that he would kill Christopher after all these years. Back home, Smith called all his Aryan Empire members to enter the Quantum Unfolding Storage Area, where she donned his White Dragon Suit again and was praised by his fellow Aryans.[3] The Aryan Empire began tracking Christopher Smith, who began a journey with his teammates to kill the Butterflies Cow, through their technological helmets.[4]

Tracking Christopher Smith, the Aryan Empire followed him from their cars, informing each other about the truck Christopher was in, and Auggie Smith claimed that if she could see her son from the sky, flying towards the vehicle, causing it to crash in the middle of the road. Smith angrily opened a part of the truck, confusing Christopher with his father free. Smith asked what he was doing. Smith told him he was going to kill him. He fired a lightning bolt that destroyed the other part of the truck as he followed Christopher to kill him. However, Adrian Chase protected his friend, attacking Smith, allowing Christopher, John Economos, and Eagly to escape. Chase continued firing before throwing a grenade, sacrificing himself to buy time, but Smith managed to survive, ordering them to continue their hunt in the woods.

In the woods, Economos wondered how they had been tracked, causing Christopher to realize that their helmets had GPS locators, tying the helmet to a raccoon to distract the Aryans, and they saw Chase survive and steal a car, something they ignored as they continued following Christopher's trail, unaware that Christopher and Economos were hidden. The duo was relieved to see the Aryans passing by, reuniting with Eagly and making their silent escape. Unfortunately for them, Smith and his Aryans realized it was a raccoon and ordered a search for their son. However, his subordinate told them that the other helmets were sending Christopher's true location. After finding Chase in the car, Christopher, Economos, and Eagly got in, beginning a quick escape. However, Chase revealed he had brought the helmets, believing them to be expensive.

Angry, Christopher stopped the car to retrieve the bag of helmets while his companions took a break. However, the Aryans had found Christopher, chasing him down and attacking him with their weapons. Christopher attempted to fight them off, receiving help from Eagly to get up and fight. Eagly unsuccessfully attempted to attack Smith, knocking him unconscious. This angered Christopher, who attempted to choke Smith, but failed due to the powers of Smith's armor, causing Christopher to be thrown to the ground. With his son in the ropes, Smith stepped on his son, blaming Christopher for his brother Keith's death.

Smith continued to emphasize Christopher's mistakes when he learned of his rock 'n' roll music, the times he shaved his body like a woman, his romantic relationships with African-American women, Asian women, and men, as well as his alleged conspiracy with Baphomet against the United States while Christopher was trying to free himself. After finishing his speech, Smith prepared to finally kill Christopher before being attacked by Chase, reminding him that his armor had holes where fabric had once been. However, Smith was able to knock Chase down so his Aryans could kill him, and Economos was able to arrive in time, using an FN P90, killing all the Aryans and saving his friends.

With Smith's armor damaged, Christopher took the opportunity to run towards his father, hitting him several times, blaming him for being the one truly responsible for Keith's death and for creating his traumas, accepting that he was a "piece of shit" simply because he never killed him when he could have, although Smith mocked his son for hitting like a girl. Christopher took a revolver to kill Smith, having doubts about whether he should kill him while Auggie laughed at Christopher for not having the courage to kill him, hurling various insults at him, since he would never stop making Christopher suffer, who finally shot his father in the forehead, killing him. Christopher began to cry while Chase and Economos tried to comfort him and then took Eagly to the Paws A Moment Veterinary Clinic.[4]

At the Paws A Moment Veterinary Clinic, Christopher Smith blamed himself for leaving Eagly in Auggie's care, though he was comforted by his pet, sharing a hopeful hug.[4] During his trip to Coverdale Ranch with the 11th Street Kids to team up to kill the Cow, Adrian Chase became angry over Smith and Leota Adebayo's arguments, recalling the rough time they had after killing Smith's father during their chase.

While searching for his sonic boom helmet, Smith encountered a manifestation of Auggie, who said he would never leave him. The hallucination confessed that it was in his head for everything he did to him, claiming to be the reason he killed, vowing never to leave despite being dead, terrifying Smith, who pulled out his blowgun to "kill" his father's ghost and avoid being detected by the Butterflies. Days after the Battle at Coverdale Ranch, Auggie Smith's hallucination reappeared in Smith's trailer to continue tormenting him, worrying Smith that he was having further mental health issues.[5]
