Ludlow is a trucker.
Biography[]
For over 15 years, Ludlow was a regular at the Cassidy Pub and was known to own an 18-wheeler truck.[1]
On one of his visits, Ludlow was harassing Chrissy and patting her butt, causing the employee Clark Kent to intervene. Ludlow threw his beer over Clark and attempted to get physical, but Clark stood firm, and was persuaded by Chrissy that he wasn't worth assaulting back. As Clark walked out, Ludlow threw a beer can at him as a "tip".
That night as he went out to his truck, he found it destroyed and impaled with numerous logs he'd been carrying.[2] The incident with the truck would go on to be posted on the internet. When the reporter Lois Lane attempted to call Ludlow and get his side of the story regarding the incident, he repeatedly hung up on her rather than answer her queries.[1]

Trivia[]
- The character of Ludlow is seemingly a homage to the character Rocky from the 1980 film Superman II, who is likewise an obnoxious trucker who picks a fight with Clark Kent.
