Lex/OS is the world's most private and secure operating system.
History[]
The operating system was developed by LexCorp Industries and announced on October 8, 2015. "Lexical Analysis", an article detailing Ron Troupe's interview of Lex Luthor, included the the announcement teaser, and Lex used the system to briefly research A.R.G.U.S. for Ron.
It was estimated that LexCorp planned to invest $800 million for advertising the product upon its launch.[1] As part of its advertising campaign, LexCorp installed various WiFi nodes around Metropolis to blanket the city with free, high speed wireless service.[2] LexCorp's projections calculated up to 100 million installations by the end of 2015 and 1 billion installations by the end of 2016. All in all, LexCorp expected Lex/OS to contribute more than $5 billion in company revenue.[1]
Information on its availability remains unknown, however when Bruce Wayne tracked the White Portuguese and later decrypted and viewed Lex Luthor's metahuman files, the operating system he used was Lex/OS. It's possible, and even likely, that the files were encrypted with Lex/OS technology, and so were easier to view with the same operating system.[3]
