Kingston Square is a location in Gotham City within the greater community of Chelsea, a few blocks away from the campus of Gotham City University.
Overview[]
Known as a hangout spot for Gotham City University students, Kingston Square offers taverns, coffee houses, and cozy concert halls, all of which are busy from Wednesday through Saturday nights. However, they see light attendance when GCU is on spring and summer break. On Monday and Tuesday evenings, amateur-night showcases and poetry readings and common.[1] Additionally, Kingston Square is a hub of bookstores, music shops, happy-hour dive bars, and pizza parlors. It is known for its cheap prices.[2]
Gotham City Pride[]
During the last weekend of June annually, Kingston Square is home to Gotham City Pride, a celebration of diversity. During the festival, there are educational conferences in Kingston Square, as well as a street fair and various music festivals. Awards are handed out for the best parade floats and costumes based on the annual theme of the festival.[3]
