- "We end this now!"
"Yeah. We do." - ―Kalypso and Billy Batson[src]
Kalypso was the second daughter of Atlas and Nyx, and the intermediate sister of Hespera and Anthea. Millennia after Atlas' death, Kalypso and her sisters sought to recover their father's stamina from the Shazam Family and restore Mount Olympus using the Golden Apple from Hera's sacred tree. However, Kalypso also intended to terraform Earth with Shazam's Staff of the Gods. When Hespera and Anthea objected, Kalypso mortally wounded Hespera and depowered Anthea before planting the Apple and attacking Philadelphia with her army of mythical creatures until her demise at the hands of Billy Batson.

Personality[]
Kalypso was a deceiving goddess who could be compared to Hades' evilness. She enjoyed using dark powers against her enemies and intended to conquer Earth as an act of vengeance. Despite at first seeming to care for her sisters and for her father's legacy, she had her own ways of completing this task and eventually subverted these two traits by throwing everything away, betraying both Anthea and Hespera and being more than willing to kill them for interference. She was heavily ambitious, power-hungry, sadistic, delusional, and sociopathic. In other words, she was the mother of all monsters.
She misanthropically viewed humans as pests, intending to provoke them until they were all extinct, and turn their world into a black hole, or in other words, hell. She cared nothing about anything but her own ways of life.
Like her sisters, Kalypso was extremely spiteful against humans for having killed her father and imprisoned her in Olympus. She sought to restore her kingdom like her sisters but what she wanted most was to make humans pay for what they did to her, being extremely cruel and sadistic when it comes to revenge.
