Batman's Crusade
At some point, the Joker became the archenemy of the vigilante Batman, who defeated the Joker and kept his laughing device as a trophy, which was later discovered by Barry Allen.[1]

- The Joker mentioned in The Flash continues the live-action incarnation of the character from Batman, which was played by Jack Nicholson.
- The laughing bag was homage to the Joker's death and defeat in the film. It was last seen being discovered by Police Commissioner Gordon, which suggests that Batman collected it from the GCPD.
