In 2021, Officer Johnson and several officers from the Evergreen Police Department were informed of an explosion at the Wild Estates Apartment Complex, so they headed to the building to investigate, finding several wrecks in the parking lot and to investigate further, Johnson contacted more officers looking for reinforcements, reporting it to Sophie Song that he contacted the rest of the department, until Song and Larry Fitzgibbon saw the suspect from a room window.
Johnson went with the group into the apartment complex to prevent the suspect from escaping the scene, heading with Song up a lift to the top floor while humming on the elevated, being reprimanded by Song for his unprofessional operation. Searching a room, Johnson could find nothing, leaving on the next floor with Song, meeting with Fitzgibbon and Sacks in the last room that did not respond, knocking down the door, where they found the Calcaterras tied up, and lost track of the escaped suspect.[1]
Arrest of Adrian Chase[]

Days later, Johnson was having a lunch break with several of his colleagues behind the Evergreen Police Department station as he read a newspaper about the mysterious kidnapping of Zoo Gorilla Charlie along with the Intergang coup in Kahndaq until he saw with a strange look Adrian Chase load a sixth of garbage, getting their attention, using it to break a police station glass, causing the wrath of the cops.
Johnson and the others officer surrounded Chase, with Johnson asking him what he was doing, being answered in a rude way by Chase, the officers ordered him to crouch down on the ground for arrest, which he quickly accepted, confusing them by his behavior. Johnson and a partner then arrested Chase, jailing him at the Evergreen Correctional Center, unaware that it was part of Chase’s plan.[2]
Chase of Peacemaker and Vigilante[]

With an arrest warrant, Johnson and the other officers joined Sophie Song to detain Peacemaker at his trailer, circling his house and warning Smith to leave the scene, but when no response, Johnson used a mallet to break down the trailer door, starting to break into Smith’s trailer. Johnson searched through several of Smith’s belongings to find evidence, finding a diary written by Smith under a piece of furniture.
Intrigued, Johnson began reading the contents inside the diary, horrified to see the strange writings about supposed alien theories, when the police lost track of Smith, Johnson met with Caspar Locke to give him the diary, warning him that it was full of madness, Locke thanked Johnson, giving him orders to keep watch on the periphery, confusing Johnson, until he understood it was the trailer, and continued investigating, slipping briefly into the mud.[3]
Attack on the Evergreen Police Department[]
In the night, Johnson was making some copies at the Evergreen Police Department Station with other policemen until Sophie Song, possessed by Queen Eek Stack Ik Ik, appeared in the office, sending several of the Butterflies to them, with one of them infecting Johnson, without giving time to respond and taking his body as host, retiring from the Evergreen Corrections Center with the army of Butterflies, smiling macabre.[3]
Following Eek Stack Ik Ik’s plans, Johnson’s Butterfly and the the other Butterflies headed to the Coverdale Ranch, where they began to pull various teleportation objects out of their trucks, taking them under the barn of the ranch to teleport the Cow to another cave outside the country. While waiting to start the Cow’s teleportation outside the ranch, Johnson's Butterfly was suddenly killed by Peacemaker through his ear with a knife, using Johnson’s clothes to get John Economos to infiltrate the ranch.[4]
