James Francis Gunn Jr. (born August 5, 1966) is an American filmmaker, actor, novelist, and musician. He wrote and directed The Suicide Squad.[1] He created the HBO Max series, Peacemaker, and acted as showrunner and executive producer for its first season. He wrote all of the episodes and directed most of them.
Gunn appeared as the featured guest in Episode 1 of Podly: The Peacemaker Podcast, a companion video podcast for Peacemaker hosted by Ify Nwadiwe and Fiona Nova.
He is currently working on another spinoff tv series for The Suicide Squad[2] as well as the second season of Peacemaker, where he will serve as writer and director for all of the episodes.[3]
