IHOP is an American multinational pancake house restaurant chain that specializes in breakfast foods. It was known to have at least one branch in Smallville, Kansas.
History[]
An IHOP restaurant was located in Smallville, Kansas, where Pete Ross worked as a manager. Lois Lane, a Metropolitan reporter from the Daily Planet newspaper, contacted Ross while she was hunting for information on Clark Kent. Later on when General Zod's Kryptonian forces attacked Smallville, Superman was battling Faora-Ul and the two landed in Pete's restaurant. Clark recognized Pete, before being tackled away by Faora-Ul.[1]
