Sometime before 2013, Gotham Globe reported on a safety program launched by City Hall, as they were trying to increase efforts to protect citizens. They also headlined Gotham crime being at a record low.[1]
Gotham Globe Website[]
After the Gotham Globe website launched, their sports division eventually reported that star quarterback Victor Stone of the Gotham Knights was set to have a "world-breaking" year.[1]

- Gotham Globe was first introduced in Batman as the working place of photojournalist Vicki Vale. This incarnation is a continuation of the one seen in that film and its sequel Batman Returns.
- In the cancelled film, Batgirl, Gotham Globe reported how Lex Luther was jailed in Belle Reve, Louisiana.
