"Craddock?"
"That's who I used to be... but not anymore... Now I can be anything I want. Thief or terror."
Hawkman and Gentleman Ghost[src]

James "Jim" Craddock was a criminal hired by Intergang to steal eternium from a mineral show gala, fighting Hawkman directly, only to be accidentally killed by crashing with a building, causing the hero to question his moral. Being dead, Craddock made a deal with demons to kill Hawkman in exchange for his return to life, becoming a vengeful spirit known as Gentleman Ghost who started tormenting Hawkman, however, he managed to intrude a piece of eternium that would return him to the underworld.
