The Flying Graysons were a family of well-known acrobats that were employed by Haley's Circus. They were famously killed before a packed crowd in a fall during a performance.[1]
History[]
During a packed performance, the Flying Graysons fell to their deaths. They were honored with a bronze plaque at the corner of the Haley's Circus lot.[1]
Behind the Scenes[]
- While not confirmed in the DCEU, it can be assumed that the Flying Graysons were the family of Dick Grayson, and that their deaths are ultimately what caused Batman to take young Grayson under his wing, taking on crime at Batman's side under the alias of Robin.
- In DC Comics, the Flying Graysons made their first appearance in Detective Comics #38 (April 1940), the issue that introduced the character of Dick Grayson/Robin.
