Bertinelli Massacre[]
As part of his duties, Carlo Rossi participated in the Bertinelli Massacre. This was the slaughter of almost the entire Bertinelli Crime family to consolidate the power of False Face Society in Gotham City. Though the assault was successful, it would ultimately prove Rossi's undoing, as one member of the family, the young daughter, Helena Bertinelli, was spared.[1]
Death[]
In 2020, after years of life as a mobster, Carlo Rossi was having dinner with his men in a restaurant, until a hooded woman approached them and started shooting all of Rossi's henchmen, so that the woman later revealed herself as the only survivor of the massacre, Helena Bertinelli, and she proceeded to shoot Rossi in the neck, killing him instantly.[1]
