Serena Jameka Williams is a professional American tennis player who, at some point, was attacked by Retrobots during a tennis match, meeting an alternative version of herself known as Wonderous Serena while she traveled to a parallel dimension.
During her trip, she found a child named Mikayla Johnson who she saved from Retrobots, bringing her to a teacher. Sometime later when the robots attacked again, Serena met a tennis player known as Diana Prince. Shortly after, she and Prince infiltrated S.T.A.R. Labs where they met their alternate versions, with whom they joined forces to stop the responsible of the attacks, Doctor Cyber, freeing her prisoners and sending them back to their universes.

Early life[]
Serena Jameka Williams was born on September 26, 1981, she eventually became a recognized professional tennis player around the world.[1]

At some point Serena Williams was playing a tennis match, where by scoring a point, she receives applause with glory as some announcers mentioned Serena's abilities in the match. As they continued to play, Williams threw a ball with great force, causing it to hit the ground creating a crater.[2]

At that moment, several robots capable of firing tennis ball-like projectiles appeared and attacked the crowd. Serena struck the projectiles away from several onlookers, in the same way that she tried to protect some civilians who were being attacked, among them was Samantha, who asked for her lost husband, so Serena aswered that she would try to find him.[2]

In that moment, a mysterious portal to another world opened up, revealing someone who looked just like her, both asked who they were, however upon touching the portal, Serena Williams was teleported to an alternate reality.[2]
Traveling to another reality[]
Helping Mikayla Johnson[]

Upon arrival, Serena appeared in a destroyed stadium with people requesting for help, in that, a girl named Mikayla Johnson appears crying after having lost her parents, when she sees Serena Williams, she mistakes her for Wonderous Serena, so Serena comforts her and helps her to escape.[3]
During the escape, they observe a S.T.A.R. laboratory where the Retrobots were manufactured, in that, Serena explains to Mikayla the meaning of bravery. A short time later, some retrobots begin to attack them, so Serena dodges they shot them with her racket while some people watched, mistaking her for Wonderous Serena.[3]

Finally, Serena takes Mikayla to an former teacher named Kym on a quest to find the girl's parents. In this place, Kym explains that the retrobots were originally created to protect people but they were corrupted, so Serena asks the girl the names of her parents, so she answers that they were Jared and Kendra Johnson. Upon withdrawing from school, Serena tells Mikayla that she is brilliant.[3]

Upon learning that Wonderous Serena was a superhero in that universe, Serena Williams begins to assume that Wonder Woman could be a tennis player in the same way, so he decides to go to the stadium of this universe. In the stadium, Serena finds a Retrobot attacking the place, so she decides to help a tennis player by destroying it.[3]
Serena meets Diana Prince
After helping her, Serena Williams asks her if she was Wonder Woman, but she responds confused if she was referring to Wonderous Serena. The tennis player responds by calling herself Diana Prince, so Serena Williams introduces herself. In that moment, some spectators began to be attacked by Retrobots, so Diana and Serena prepared to defend them. Williams and Prince would manage to stop the retrobots in the stadium, soon after they would infiltrate the S.T.A.R. Labs of that universe in search of stopping the attacks.[3]
Confronting Doctor Cyber[]

The heroines meet their alternate versions.
Inside the offices, Williams and Prince found their alternate versions on the floor about to be shot by a shot from a retrobot, so in an act of avoiding it, Williams used her tennis racket to shoot back. Upon getting up, everyone asked who they were, to which Wonderous Serena and Wonder Woman explained that they were alternate versions. Just then, more retrobots came to attack, so the heroines gathered together to fight back as they entered a hallway.[4]

While Serena and the team were fighting against the retrobots, Wonder Woman deduced that the person responsible for the attacks was guarding a door which was heavily guarded by the retrobots, so they managed to enter. The heroines proceeded to enter causing an explosion in the middle of the action, but confused to see Doctor Cyber, who introduced herself with them. Cyber then proceeded to attack the heroines using her powers.[4]

Wonderous Serena asked Doctor Cyber why she reprogrammed retrobots to become violent, to which Cyber explained her twisted plans for justice by explaining her philosophy of crime prevention. Williams turned to her to ask about the families he was separating from her by her actions, as Cyber explained that separating the parents from her children by imprisoning them would eventually help her have influence over them. Williams proceeded to bang Cyber's chair explaining that equal justice was a human right and what she was doing was wrong.[4]

The talk allowed Cyber to be distracted, so that Williams along with Diana Prince then attacked Cyber from two angles, persuading her and allowing Wonderous Serena and Wonder Woman to stop her by leaving her on the ground under the power of the Lasso of Truth. Doctor Cyber was forced to confess the truth, being forced to reveal the location of the prisoners and reprogram the retrobots, while Wonderous Serena complimented Williams on coming up with the idea of returning shots to the corner, to which Williams complimented that she gave the best of herself in challenges.[4]

Serena Williams and her companions save the Cyber's prisoners.
After Doctor Cyber confessed the location, the heroines approached the prisoners' cells, where they were released. Serena Williams took it upon herself to remove Darius's handcuffs, explaining that his family was safe and they would send him back to them. Wonder Woman approached Williams to let her know that it was time to bring people back to her families, as Wonderous explained that she and Prince would be running things in her universe for the time being.[4]

Seeing Mikayla Johnson's parents hugging and mourning the loss of their daughter, Williams warned the heroines that she had to take the parents before her before her. Serena proceeded to approach them and take them to Kym's orphanage, where her daughter was waiting for them, when Williams arrived she joined Kym while she watched Mikayla happily hugging her parents for having recovered them while she thanked her. Shortly after, Williams along with Wonder Woman brought the other families from Earth-1 back to their universe.[4]

Serena Williams is very brave due she is not afraid of Retrobots. When these robots attacked a civilian, Serena sought to protect and save them by destroying the menace. In the same way, she felt confused when she met Wonderous Serena and her reality, since many thought that she was the same hero. Serena Williams was kind to the people she rescued, including the girl named Mikayla Johnson, whom she rescued from the retrobots and personally returned to her parents after saving them from Doctor Cyber. Williams is also a staunch defender of human rights, emphasizing to Doctor Cyber that her actions were harmful as they were not justice.
