Danny is the son of Tony who both experienced the Black Zero Event.

During Zod's terraforming, Danny was one of the many citizens who experienced the destruction in Metropolis. His father tried telling him they had to go, but Danny was so terrified he stood still to the point where his father forced him along.[1]
