Danny is the son of Tony who was saved by Barry Allen during the Black Zero Event.

Danny had gone out one day with his dad Tony to Metropolis, the two were walking calmly until a gigantic ship appeared in the sky, suddenly it began to send gravity pulses through Earth, causing immense destruction to the surrounding area. Danny and his dad tried to escape but unfortunately at some point, his dad ended up being trapped in a pile of rubble. Danny approached him but Tony asked him to run away. Barry Allen, who had recently obtained his powers, upon seeing father and son about to be victims of the Black Zero, ran to save them but suddenly everything started to be lifted into the air, Barry managed to grab Danny but not Tonny and suddenly the Black Zero sent another pulse, slamming everything into the ground with incredible force and killing Tony. Barry managed to use his speed to cushion the fall and run away with Danny in his arms. After that it is possible that Barry reunited Danny with his mother. [1]
