FanDome, specifically DC FanDome, is a global event celebrating the characters, worlds, movies, television, and games of the DC universe.
DC FanDome 2020[]
The first DC FanDome took place on August 22, 2020. It was an eight-hour stream that played three times over a twenty-four hour period.
Wonder Woman 1984 virtual world premiere[]
On December 11, 2020 DC Comics announced that DC FanDome would be hosting the Wonder Woman 1984 virtual world premiere on the fifteenth of that month. Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, and Lynda Carter attended. They talked about the production of the movie and fielded fan questions before revealing a new trailer. They also set up for a side video featuring Hans Zimmer and the music of the film.[1]
DC FanDome 2021[]
The second DC FanDome was announced April 28, 2021.[2] It was a three-hour stream released on October 16, 2021.
HBO Max FanDome[]
In late August 2020, following the success of DC FanDome, it was revealed that "HBO Max FanDome" had been trademarked. There are no official plans for a HBO Max FanDome event, but one could be in the early stages of development, and there are a number of DC projects being developed for HBO Max.
