The Clocktower is a large clocktower located in downtown Gotham City. It is owned by Wayne Enterprises and is in close proximity to Wayne Tower. The loud chimes of the Clocktower can be heard throughout Gotham and mark the top of every hour.[1]
History[]
The Clocktower was constructed in 1938. During the gang war and urban unrest that tore Gotham City apart in the 1970s, the Clocktower ceased housing businesses in its lower levels. However, Bruce Wayne and the Wayne Foundation have committed resources to the Clocktower's upkeep.[2]
