David Hersch, better known as Cicada, was a competitor in the Midnight Circus.
Biography[]
When Thinker started the competition, Cicada briefly argued with him about the legality of the questions after copying Riddler's idea, but was threatened by Thinker to sue him. Cicada started with a riddle, guessing that it was a clock, after Allen and West guessed their riddles, Cicada failed to guess the following riddle, losing and being thrown into a cage with chimpanzees.[1]

- In the comics, Cicada is an architect and preacher who gained the ability to absorb the life-force of others, extending his lifespan for almost a century. He became a recurring enemy of Flash.
