The Chase of The Jacks was an open confrontation between The Jacks and Batman.
Background[]
Following the migration of various criminal gangs that moved out of Gotham City to avoid dealing with Batman, the criminal organization known as The Jacks, composed of at least three criminals, started wreaking havoc on Gotham in order to build their own power in the absence of competition.[1]
Chase[]
As The Jacks were throwing handgrenade-type bombs at various buildings of Gotham City in hopes of making a name for themselves, the Gotham City Police Department soon arrived but were unable to stop the Jacks, who decided to escape in their motorcycles. As the Jacks rode around Gotham, they saw the Bat Signal in the sky but believed it was just a GCPD tactic to scare them off, which lead to them attacking more buildings.
One of the Jacks' motorcycles was destroyed by a Batarang, which caused the criminal to crash, much to the other two Jacks' surprise. The two remaining criminals soon realized that they were being chased by Batman. The vigilante gave the Jacks a chance to surrender, which they didn't take as they began throwing more of their bombs at Batman. Batman used his motorcycle to throw a net at one of the criminals, making him stop on his tracks while he continued to chase the leader. The leader's motorcycle then sped up and managed to get away from Batman's grasp, but the motorcycle was then quickly dismantled by the Flash, who arrived at the scene to help Batman.[1]
Aftermath[]
Following the defeat of the Jacks, Flash told Batman that he needed help with stopping a criminal called Girder. The two headed for the Batcave after Batman tied up the Jack leader for the police to find.[1]
