The Chaos of the Wishes was a campaign initiated by the enterpriser Max Lord to meet his ends though the use of the Dreamstone, resulting in a series of skirmishes fought between Diana Prince and Max.[1]

Diana uses the Lasso of Truth to hack Max's broadcast. She communicates to the world and tells them they must renounce their wishes to undo the chaos created by the Dreamstone's effects. She also shows Max a vision of Alistair, who was wandering about the streets as the United States and Soviet Union launched their respective nuclear arsenals on one another. This caused Max and most of the world's citizens to renounce their wishes, reversing the Dreamstone's effects and preventing a nuclear war from taking place.
Aftermath[]
After many of the world's citizens renounced their wishes and the prevention of a nuclear war, Max boarded a helicopter and left the broadcast station. He eventually reunites with his son and apologizes for his negligence, to which Alistair forgives him.
