The Capture of Captain Boomerang was a successful operation by Barry Allen to bring Captain Boomerang into custody.
History[]
- "No honor among thieves, eh?"
- ―Barry Allen to Captain Boomerang[src]
With an accomplice, Australian criminal George Harkness organized a robbery at the Central City Diamond Exchange. After stealing most of the jewels, Harkness sent his accomplice to retrieve the rest of the merchandise, only to boomerang him from behind and betray him. Before he could leave with all the diamonds, Harkness was surprised by speedster Barry Allen, who exclaimed Harkness's great dishonor in working as a team, before stopping him. Harkness was soon arrested and sentenced to 8 years and 3 months.[2]
Aftermath[]
- "But he tangled with a metahuman and lived to tell about it."
- ―Amanda Waller[src]
In 2016, Captain Boomerang was chosen as a candidate for Task Force X by A.R.G.U.S. Director Amanda Waller. His files chronicled his capture at the hands of Barry Allen, who was referred to as "The Flash."[2] Years later, while traveling through time in the Chronobowl in an attempt to prevent his mother's death, Allen revisited several events from his past, including briefly capturing Harkness at the diamond exchange.[3]
