A tactical suit is worn by hitman Robert DuBois, better known as Bloodsport.
History[]
Criminal use[]
Bloodsport began wearing a suit that gave him protection while committing crimes as a dangerous mercenary. Eventually, DuBois would confront Superman with the intention of killing him, shooting him a kryptonite bullet, however DuBois would fail and after this act, the mercenary would be imprisoned in Belle Reve.[1]
Corto Maltese mission[]
Robert DuBois agreed to join Task Force X after being manipulated by Amanda Waller, making Bloodsport part of the second division to the island of Corto Maltese. Upon arrival, Bloodsport began to use the suit with his weaponry to defend Ratcatcher 2 who was about to be eaten by King Shark. The next day and after Rick Flag disappeared, the squad discovered a small armed force, so Christopher Smith and Bloodsport with their weapons stored in their suits, would compete to make better shots, until they discovered that they were of members of the Maltese Resistance who saved Flag.[1]
After kidnapping Thinker, the squad would infiltrate Jotunheim placing bombs, after Rick Flag discovered the truth behind the Project Starfish, he would be killed by Peacemaker, so DuBois would act leaving him severely injured. Starro would then be released after the bombs exploded, causing Bloodsport to use suit technology to survive the destruction but the helmet was destroyed in the process. Then, DuBois would meet with the rest of the members to free them while he defended himself with weapons taken from his suit. Finally, the team would defeat the starfish, so they would return to America removing their sentences.[1]
Capabilities[]
The suit is equipped with DuBois' arsenal of nanotech[citation needed] based weaponry, which are carried as small gadgets stored throughout the suit in several pockets and containers. DuBois can detach the gadgets from his suit and assemble them into their weapon forms in an instant, or collapse them back into their gadget forms to be stored again when not in use. The suit additionally features a xenomorph inspired helmet that hides Bloodsport's identity, the helmet itself is also a collapsible gadget allowing Bloodsport to wear it independently from the rest of the suit if necessary. During the battle against Starro Bloodsport was seen attaching multiple gadgets into the same gun to make into a bigger and more powerful weapon.[1]
Hidden Weapons[]
Bloodsport's suit contains various hidden weapons and gadgets, including an accelerant, a line spike, a silencer, a hard drive storage, a flail head, two pistols, a sword, a two-piece rifle, the "biggest weapon yet" attachment, arrows, a bow lever/channel, a slingshot/garrote/flail, a pilot light nozzle, and another tiny pistol.[2]
