The black skull mask is a mask that Roman Sionis wears when he is operating as Black Mask.

• Intimidation: The mask is designed as a skull, making it easier for the wearer to intimidate people.

Development

Following the release of Birds of Prey, concept artist Kyle Brown revealed a total of six alternate designs for the Black Skull Mask. He stated that for the design, he had to tow the line between the original source material and the high fashion world that director Cathy Yan created for the film.
