Black Manta's Submarine was a hammerhead-shaped submarine of Necrusian origin used by Black Manta during his campaign and captained by his first mate, Stingray in his absence and stead.
History[]
The submarine was originally manufactured in ancient times by the Kingdom of Necrus. Later, it was recovered by Black Manta and his Manta Men with the aid of Kordax whose spirit lay trapped in the Black Trident wielded by Black Manta.
Capabilities[]
The submarine possessed the technology for a “stealth mode” among its many capabilities. It also housed an internal fleet of several Octobots in a vehicle bay and was armed with a sonic cannon and several other unidentified turreted weapons. It possessed an energy shield for defensive purposes capable of withstanding modern Atlantean hydro-cannons.
- Sonic Cannon: A special energy weapons that fires ultra sonic energy that disorient targets, shatter structures, and disable enemy armor or tech by vibrating it apart.
- Energy Shield: The submarine can generate an energy shield for defensive purposes capable of withstanding modern Atlantean hydro-cannons.
