Black Manta's Campaign was a series of vengeful attacks orchestrated by David Kane to loot vaults of Orichalcum, in order to obtain the release of the evil King Kordax, who, promising to give him immense power, manipulated David to be the new user of the Black Trident and heat the ice with Orichalcum to thaw the Lost Kingdom of Necrus in Antarctica.
In defense to ensure the salvation of Earth, Arthur Curry was forced to have to free his half-brother Orm Marius and form an alliance with him to confront Black Manta and the Manta Men in their lair, but after destroying the base, Black Manta kidnapped Arthur's son to use his blood as a way to free Kordax, sparking a battle between the Forces of Atlantis, Xebel and the Brine against the Necrus Zombies to save the baby, which resulted with Arthur and Orm murdering Kordax and destroying the curse he imposed several centuries ago.
