Elizabeth "Betty" Harkness is the mother of Digger Harkness and wife of Ian Harkness.
Biography[]
Betty Harkness married Ian Harkness and together, they lived in Korumburra, Australia. During the 1980s, she engaged in a romantic relationship with the American W. W. Wiggins, that resulted in the birth of their illegitimate son George, later nicknamed "Digger".[1]
At age 15, Digger and a friend robbed a general store and escaped with the money he obtained thanks to a boomerang. Nonetheless, his stepfather banished him from the house as a result of the incident, but Betty bought her son a plane ticket to Central City, Ohio, and told him to get in touch with his biological father.[1]
