Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a small country in western Europe, bordered by Germany to the east and France to the south.
History[]
World War I[]
During the First World War, Belgium fought for the Allied Powers and much of its territory was a battleground mainly occupied by the Germans.[1][2] The Belgian village of Passchendaele was the theater of a bloody battle.[3]
During the war, Wonder Woman and her colleagues fought against German forces there.[2] A photograph was taken of her and company while in Belgium. 97 years later, Lex Luthor procured the photo while investigating Metahumans.[4]
Post-War[]
After the conclusion of the conflict Etta Candy and the Wonder Men were tasked with the mission of retrieving a Mother Box within the Belgian line.[5]
In 2015, a series of crimes occurred in the Belgian capital of Brussels.[4]
