The battle cruiser is a type of warship owned by the Kingdom of the Fishermen.[1] It is designed to resemble a whale, and is the main warship of the Fishermen. It's built for naval warfare and attacking enemy ships from a distance.[2]
It is one of many types of Atlantean warship.
History
Arthur goes to Atlantis
As Arthur and Mera flew past customs, a fleet of two battle cruisers along with other Fisherman warships were among the traffic, accompanied by a Xebel squid cruiser and an Atlantis fleet carrier, presumably making a pit stop at Atlantis.
Arthur and Mera traveled very close to one as
they entered the water barrier leading into Atlantis.
Another battle cruiser was already inside the city, in a large empty spot that appeared to be a dockyard, surrounded by a squadron of stingers.
Battle of the Brine
Dozens of battle cruisers were assembled by the Fishermen for the battle as part of the Fisherman fleet. They mostly avoided combat, instead remaining behind and bombarding enemy positions, much like a cannon of the steam age.
With the sudden rise of the legendary Karathen, along with Arthur and thousands of marine life, the land forces immediately retreated from the lumbering beast. The battle cruisers joined the battle, providing fire support while staying away from the front due to their light armor.
With the land battle over and the brine out of action, one of the battle cruisers surfaced from the ocean in the distance around site of the duel between Orm and Arthur.
