Dr. Babrius Aesop is a criminal from Gotham City, and the former chief scientist of WayneTech.
Biography[]
Babrius Aesop was the chief scientist at the WayneTech robotics division. When his sister Amelia Greeley separated from her spouse, Aesop started to take the responsibility of taking his then five-year old nephew Rory Greeley out to places like the comic book shop, Metros games and watching super-hero movies. Eventually, Babrius started developing delusions of grandeur, desiring to take over the world with his inventions. His sister noticed his behavior and thus had no choice but to report him to their superiors. This caused him to be fired from WayneTech for threats against humanity and institutionalized at Arkham Asylum. Here he befriended another inmate and fellow former employee at Waynetech who went by the name of Jackalope.[1]
Escape from Arkham Asylum[]
On the day of the Black Zero Event, the fighting from the battle caused a temporary blackout in Arkham Asylum. This allowed Aesop to put his plan of escape into action. Using his engineering skills, he was able to unlock himself from the prison. Not wanting the competition of other asylum prisoners, Jackalope was the only one he freed from his cell. He entered one of the offices and donned a physician's lab coat and set to work changing his physical appearance to disguise himself.[1]
